Alright y’all, this one feels like a doozy with lots of mixed emotions behind it…
I want to share that after almost 8 years of working together, Megan will no longer be COO of A Lit Up Life come April 1.
I wanted to share this with our community as a whole as Megan has been SUCH an integral part of it and has not only provided so much unseen support, but forward facing value as well.
Here’s some background…
Megan and I started working together in 2016. She started with me as a very part time VA/OBM and has grown to COO where she houses and manages our entire team through her business, Whitespace.
In the last 6 months, it’s
become clear that both of our businesses and desires were moving in different directions. We’ve had lots of conversations about what those directions were and where the overlap was, but ultimately, decided it was time for both of us to move on to what would be better for each of us in the long-run.
For Megan, that looks like taking on one new client to partner with as their COO, where she’ll manage and empower your existing team, streamline systems, and refine every aspect of your business operations to support you to scale more quickly and with more ease. She’ll also be offering VIP Days to do a deep dive into your back end operations, for those who aren’t ready for ongoing support but would still love to have her strategic brain in their business! If you want to be one of the luckiest humans
on the planet and work with her you can learn more and apply here.
For me, that looks like bringing on more full-time, in house support at A Lit Up Life which I’ll obviously share more with y’all about along the way.
But firstly, I want to thank Megan for being the wind beneath my wings for all these years and really take a moment to honor her and her immense and everlasting contribution to A Lit Up Life and everyone that’s come into contact with us.
And secondly, I want this to be a reminder that you can shift, pivot and change your mind. That changing how things are operating doesn’t mean that they weren’t great before. That sometimes the bravest thing you can do is be willing to try something new. But also that can be a well-thought out decision that isn’t something you rush into.
… and lastly,
if you’re like, “Ok cool, appreciate the share but WHAT ABOUT THE PODCAST?” I hear you!! And you can meet the new podcast coachee here! First two episodes will be out this coming Wednesday 🎉🎉🎉
I’ve already gotten SUCH good feedback from you guys from our recent livestream so I’m really excited to hear what you
think of the initial episodes!
Our coachee is really in a rebuilding phase in so many ways, and it feels like divine timing to also be sharing a similar message about rebuilding and transitioning our team in A Lit Up Life. I hope you’ll join us next week.
And I hope if you see Megan around on social media, you’ll throw some big love and support her way too.
Here’s to the next chapter for all of us 💖🎉
